Thompsons have a long history, over 80 years in the Design, manufacture, sales, installation and service of industrial and commercial roller shutter doors. In recent years with continued research and development we have expanded our range of products to include, fire shutters, aluminium shutters and grilles, sectional overhead doors, bi-folding doors, sliding, swing and boom gates, roller doors and tilt type doors.

Thompsons has built a solid reputation within the building industry for high quality products and reliable site performance. With our “can do” attitude, attention to detail and a determination to meet installation dates, our team have built ongoing constructive relationships with many builders and developers.
Thompsons can supply, install and service our full range of products to a very high standard. Our mechanical and electrical installation technicians are highly trained and carry the necessary OH&S green cards and certifications, which allows access to all major building sites. Our fully equipped trucks have cranes and 415/240v generator welders for independent operation on any site.
You can rely on Thompsons Roller Shutters because we are a Proprietary Limited Company and are fully insured, with $20 million for Public & Product Liability, and $2 million on Contract Risk Insurance. All of our employees are covered by Workers Compensation Insurance as required by Workcover. Our OH&S systems are compliant with all construction, mining and industrial site requirements, with industry standard site specific Subcontractor Safety Packs, Risk and Safe Work Method Statements.
Thompsons are also registered with a number of OH&S compliance authorities such as Pegasus, CM3 and Coles, these certifiers are stringent in their certification procedures and company selections.
