Full back up Service
Once your doors are installed, it is important to keep them operating at their best. Thompsons provides a full backup service and give a twelve month warranty on all products manufactured or supplied by our company.

Our service department recognises that a problem with the entry or exit to your premises can cause a major disruption to your business or premises, as well as a security hazard. This is why our service department is geared up to be reactive to service calls and respond quickly. We will ensure that we attend your site on the same day.
Our service teams are fully trained and operate through our fleet of radio controlled vehicles.
Our trucks are well equipped and most jobs can be completed at the time of service. If for any reason, further parts are required that may need manufacturing, our servicemen will ensure that your door is secured in a locked down position or left open for access, whichever is your preference.
If a door is in need of further parts or work, a quotation will be prepared within 24 hours and submitted in writing. Our service department will be in close contact to ensure that your door is fully repaired in minimum time.
However, as with any quality product, regular servicing and maintenance is a must. Preventative maintenance agreements are an ideal way to make sure roller shutters are regularly inspected and serviced. We provide same day service for service calls to roller shutters, sectional doors, rollerdoors, sliding gates, bi-fold doors and tilt-a-doors.

Our technicians are fully trained and continue to gain on the job experience through the variety of items we service.
Thompsons are committed to safe work operations and it is a requirement that our technicians attend site inductions for various builders and strata management bodies. Under company policy, we provide regular tool box talks of which all technicians are required to participate.
Our technicians have various qualifications and have achieved licences such as electrical disconnect/ reconnect certificates, Greencards, scissor lift operation and heavy truck licences. They have undergone courses such as Working at Heights in order to be able to use harnesses.
